Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from a multicultural family. Her birthplace was within South London. Her mother and father are both English. She went to The Brit School when she was 14. She graduated with a BA in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She performed in various stage productions during her college days, such as the King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. She then appeared in Elisha, the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie in six episodes each of Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. The ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl was her first appearance in 2008 playing Bambi. Madekwe starred in the 2008 comedy feature film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe first aired in the US in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama show was telecast in the US on The CW for only two episodes before being cancelled. In February of 2011, she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. After appearing on the show for the first two seasons, it was announced in May 2013 that Madekwe would leave the show after an appearance as a guest in the pilot episode in the season's third. From 2014 until the year 2016, she appeared on Salem as Tituba. Her long-time friend, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They've worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl and also was a character on the TV series Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress who was twice nominated for the Gemini Award, hails from a large Hamilton family. Ashley Leggat joined Roy and Patty and her other siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley's family, which is all athletic, played baseball during the summer and played hockey in the winter months. Ashley did not have the ability to actually walk. She would dance. When she reached just 2 1/2 years old when she was a little older, she began to take part in Baby Ballet. Ashley developed a passion for dancing shortly after she joined Baby Ballet. Ashley competed in top-level divisions in jazz, tap ballet, hip hop, lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics as well as pointe until the time she completed from high school. She was crowned the top soloist at each of the main dance contests, including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
