Harry

Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British composer and singer. Harry Styles was one of the original members of One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England in February 1994. He's also the daughter of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school. There, with three other students, formed his musical group, White Eskimo. The group won the Battle of Bands in 2009 with their amazing performance. He always showed an interest in music. However, he was aspiring to be a lawyer or physical therapy. He was employed in a local bakery as a part-time job to help the family with financial issues. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition in which he performed Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. Because of that, his band were forced to split. In the course of auditioning on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles would be part of the band to be dubbed One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. The band's formation became a reality in the year 2010 when the five members were sponsored by Simon Cowell. The group played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group could be considered one of the contestants to win the competition. The group was placed in third place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle, who won. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell were not able to win the contest. However, Cowell offered Harry Styles a 2 million dollars contract with Syco.
