Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country music star for more than 30 years. She was born in Decatur IL on the 23rd of July, 1971. She and LeAnn Kymes were two of the youngest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer, songwriter and bluegrass musician. Her birth date was July 23, 1971. Her age was just teen when she first entered the music world and was a winner of local contests from the age of 10 old and recording her first album at the age of fourteen years of age. She signed with Rounder Records, her first album came out in 1987. The year 1989 saw her asked to join Alison Krauss & Union Station who she is a part of.
